After years of dedicated service to the local community, and vintage toy collecting aficionados everywhere, the Marx Toy Museum’s physical location, in Moundsville, West Virginia, will close its doors permanently, on June 30th, 2016.

The Marx Toy Museum is open Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 11 am until 5 pm - from April through June 30th, 2016. Call in advance for holiday hours.

What to Expect at the Marx Toy Museum
A Tour of Marx Toy Museum begins with an Introduction to Louis Marx the Man; the History of Louis Marx & Co; and toy production at the Marx factories. Visitors will be invited to explore the Marx Museum at their own pace and to reminisce those childhood memories.
Throughout your visit, The Official Marx Toy Museum will share the history, stories, and statistics of not only the toys, but the men and women dedicated their lives to toy production.
The Museum Tour Features Three Videos on Marx:
* A detailed history of Marx Toys & Louis Marx the Man
* A documentary of the Glen Dale factory toy production
* Original Marx commercials from the 1960's
Your visit will conclude in the Marx Museum 1950's Room to take in the sites and sounds of the Golden Era. Get your photo with Elvis in the phone booth and just kick back with a bottle of Coca Cola.
The museum has two handicap accessible restrooms and wheel chair accessible, has seating available throughout the museum, along with refreshments and snacks!!
