MTM Opens for 2015

Located just 1.5 miles from the original Glen Dale Factory in “Historical” Moundsville, West Virginia, The Official Marx Toy Museum displays the toys of Louis Marx from the 1930’s through the 1970’s.  A labyrinth of glass cabinets guides visitors through a display of thousands of Marx items including metal wind-ups, historical playsets, push toys, trains, dollhouses, service stations, Johnny West figures, Big Wheels, and much, much more.   

The Marx Toy Museum offers an enjoyable tour for families and groups alike.  Recent groups include local Boy Scout and Girl Scout Troops, Church Groups, Elementary School Classes, “car” clubs, and bus tours.  Rotations of displays and numerous additions to the museum make the museum a fun and exciting attraction to visit again and again!    The Marx Toy Museum is located at 915 2nd Street in Moundsville, WV and is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11 am to 5 pm from April through December.    For more information, contact Marx Toy Museum at (304) 845-6022.
