Does anyone know a toy repair shop or service that can repair the broken legs (knees) of a Johnny West action figure from the 70s?

What does MIB mean when selling a MARX toy?

I loved so many of these toys I wouldn't know where to begin to tell you how much fun this company gave me.

But I've got a question about "Nutty Mads". I'd like any information you can give me on them. The way I remember them was they hit the stores before I was even 10 (I think) which would mean I was collecting them before 1962. A friend says that's not possible, because all the ebay sellers claim a 1963 sell date. But I say that the stamp on the bottom of them, the "MCMLVIII" stands for 1958, which would put them in stores probably by 1959 which would have made me around 8-9 and at about the perfect age for adoring them. Am I correct, or wrong?

Are all of the Marx military and western figures marked with "MARX" on the bottom of the base? I see several German Soldiers that look original to me, but only have 2 circle indentation on the bottom of their base; are theses reissues? How can I tell which are original or reissues?
